Our good friends welcomed their second daughter, Leona, on Valentine’s Day! They were visiting in Colorado this week, so it was the perfect time to (finally) give them their card! I love the stork images from Avery Elle’s Special Delivery set & knew I wanted to use the flying stork against a blended sky background.
Baby Shower Card
I created this card for our neighbor’s daughter, who is expecting her second boy. It was a relatively quick card to make, as I already had a general idea of how I wanted it to look. (I also had a limited amount of time – my kids went down for naps and slept for about 1.5 hours.) The background was blended with Distress Oxide inks, and images from Lawn Fawn’s Plus One and Ribbon Messages Stamp & Cut from Hero Arts were used.
Teacher Appreciation Cards
I haven’t posted or created much lately because it’s been a little crazy around here, so what better way to get back into the swing of things than with 10 cards for our kids’ teachers? I used a bunch of floral stamp sets, and I was given the teachers’ favorite colors which helped guide me in making these cards.
Ninja Birthday Cards
My son was invited to a joint birthday party for two boys (turning 4 and 5) in his preschool class. Both of their moms mentioned that they each loved ninjas, so I knew I had to pull out the Tiny Ninjas stamp set from Mama Elephant!
Love Valentine’s Card
This is the Valentine’s Day card that I made for my husband – and this sentiment is perfect as I truly do love this life we’ve made together.
